T3 Announces Its Partner Colleges & Universities

by Rachael Capua

With great enthusiasm, the Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership is excited to share our founding partner colleges and universities for 2021-2022 with you!

All T3 Scholars attending one of the following institutions beginning in Fall 2021 will receive bridge programming the summer before their first semester in college, persistence coaching and resources to ensure they stay on track, and transfer student support should they choose to attend Tarrant County College and then transfer to a partner university.

For fast facts and more information about admissions, scholarship opportunities, and eligibility, click on the school names below. Many application fees have been waived or are not required.

All T3 eligibility requirements must be met to receive T3-specific program benefits and supports.

Highlights by School:

  • Tarrant County College: Receive a T3 "last dollar" tuition-free scholarship for up to 8 consecutive semesters or the completion of a degree or certificate (family must meet income thresholds)
  • Tarleton State University: Admission application fee waived for all qualifying FWISD students with automatic admission for those graduating in the top 25% of their respective class
  • Texas Christian University: Application deadline has passed for Fall 2021; however, competitive scholarships for transfer students are available including a limited number of full-tuition Chancellor's Scholarships
  • Texas Wesleyan University: 97% of students receive scholarships and grants; depending on student's high school GPA, they could receive anywhere from $14,000-$21,000 per year in Texas Wesleyan scholarships alone
  • University of North Texas at Dallas: Named the #1 public university in Texas for serving first-generation college students and #3 for lowest student debt in the Nation, UNTD is currently the only T3 partner option located in Dallas with automatic admission for those graduating in the top 30% of their respective class
