What does it mean to be a T3 Scholar after high school?

While T3 is committed to helping you choose the right path after high school with confidence, we are equally committed to ensuring you have the support needed to help you to and through your postsecondary experience. "Postsecondary" means any education after high school. That's right, our goal is to get you to the finish line -- be it a credential, two-year and/or four-year degree.

This page is a one-stop-shop for all information related to your T3 Scholar experience after high school. Visit it often and we are here if you have questions. Email us at support@T3partnership.org to learn more any time.

Maybe you feel a credential program is the best fit for you. If so, check out the many options at Tarrant County College, from welding to becoming a dental assistant! If you are eligible, T3's last dollar tuition-free scholarships will support you when pursuing a technical or trade certificate, too.

I'm going to a T3 Partner College or University, what can I expect?

The below institutions believe in YOU! They are committed to your success and are working closely with the T3 College & Career Team to build strong support programs so you are academically, socially, and financially prepared for college. Click their logos below to learn more.

Here's what you can expect when attending a T3 partner college or university:

  • Bridge / Transition Programming: It is expected that you attend your college or university's "bridge" or "transition" program the summer before your first semester. Due to COVID-19, these programs for Summer 2021 will vary depending on where you go to school and may be in-person, virtual or hybrid. Your institution will contact you directly via the email you provided in your admissions application with more information, including on where to register.
  • Persistence Coaching + Resources: To "persist" means to keep going, even if you meet setbacks or challenges. There is power in knowing where to go when you need help. College is not always easy, but with the right guidance, support, and resources you can and will be successful. No matter what T3 partner college or university you attend, there are dedicated points of contact to serve as the "go to" people for your questions. Some institutions have specific persistence programs for you. As a T3 Scholar, you are expected to participate. Not because it is another thing to do, but because with T3 scholarships and supports, comes commitment from you, too. We're in this together.
  • Transfer Student Support: If you plan to attend TCC and transfer to a T3 partner university, we will be with you to and through your transition as well. Stay tuned for more information.
