T3 Scholarships at TCU

Remember: Even if a student does not receive T3 scholarships, they are still considered a T3 Scholar and are encouraged to engage in T3 programming to receive support!

Fast Facts:

  • Last Dollar Scholarships: Eligible T3 Scholars with a family income of $65,000 or less may receive a “last dollar” scholarship to TCU for up to 8 consecutive semesters or the completion of a degree. This scholarship will cover any remaining tuition costs after all Pell grants and/or other federal, state, or institutional aid have been applied.
    • Last Dollar Scholarships are funded, administered and disbursed by the partner university, not T3. Connect with the TCU financial aid office to learn more about your eligibility.
    • Eligibility is determined by results of the College Board’s “CSS Profile” application and other supporting documentation. Families with artificially low incomes, resulting from business losses and other income tax allowances, may not be eligible for this scholarship.
    • The Last Dollar amount will vary depending on your tuition gap after all other state, federal and/or institutional aid have been applied. Review the T3 "Where's My Award" resource to learn how this award will appear within your financial aid offer.
    • Last Dollar eligible students may also receive the T3 Assistance Grant, which is meant to aid with housing and dining cost.
    • If eligible, T3 Last Dollar scholarship funds may also be used to cover tuition costs for summer courses at TCC! Contact T3 the Spring before you plan to enroll in summer courses to learn more.

  • First Dollar Scholarships: Income eligible T3 Scholars who complete all requirements will receive a "first dollar" scholarship of $500 per year to assist with any academic or emergency-related expenses. The scholarship is renewable for up to 8 consecutive semesters or the completion of a degree.
    • First Dollar Scholarships are funded, administered and disbursed directly by T3. Eligible students will be contacted by T3 the Spring/Summer of their Senior year in high school with required next steps.
