What Makes You Eligible

If you attend Diamond Hill-Jarvis, Dunbar, Eastern Hills, O.D. Wyatt, Polytechnic or Western Hills in the 2020-2021 academic year, you are part of a T3 Full Launch High School.

By taking the T3 Partnership Pledge as a junior or senior, you become a T3 Scholar and gain access to a variety of programming and support opportunities. Learn more below.

While You're Still in High School

The following programming and supports are available to you while in high school:

  1. TCU College Advising Corps (CAC) Adviser: T3 has partnered with TCU CAC to provide you and your family one-on-one college and career advising. You will hear directly from your adviser to begin the process.
  2. Postsecondary Success Planning: Your TCU CAC Adviser and others will help you design a customized "Postsecondary Success Plan" for life after high school. This means helping you choose the right pathway after you graduate be it college, a credential, and/or career track.
  3. Job Shadow & Internship Opportunities: As a T3 Scholar, you will have access to job shadow and internship opportunities so that you can have a better idea of what type of careers you are interested in pursuing.
  4. Community Mentorship: Launching in Spring 2021, juniors and seniors at full launch high schools will have first priority for placement in the T3 Mentorship Program. This initiative matches you with a leader in the community working in a career field of interest.

If You Attend Tarrant County College

The following programming and supports are available to you if you choose to attend Tarrant County College (TCC) following high school graduation:

  1. "Last Dollar" Tuition-Free Scholarship to TCC: Effective Fall 2021, eligible students will receive a “last dollar” tuition-free scholarship to Tarrant County College (TCC) for up to 8 consecutive semesters (not including summer) or the completion of a certificate or associate degree. This scholarship will cover any remaining tuition costs after all Pell grants and/or other federal, state, or institutional aid have been applied. Please check the family income requirements to see if you are eligible. If you do not meet such income thresholds, you are still eligible for other T3 program supports.

  2. Bridge Programming: The T3 Team will work with you and TCC to ensure you have the necessary support the summer between high school graduation and your first year in college.
  3. College Persistence Coaching: If you need additional guidance throughout your time at TCC, one-on-one and group advising and support will be available to T3 Scholars to ensure you are successful.
  4. Transfer Resources: Should you choose to transfer to a 4-year partner university after TCC, transfer student support and resources will be available to and through your transition.

If You Attend a 4-Year Partner University

The following programming and supports are available to you if you attend a T3 partner university and meet necessary eligibility requirements following high school graduation:

  1. "Last Dollar" Tuition-Free Scholarship to UTA: Effective Fall 2021, eligible students will receive a “last dollar” tuition-free scholarship to UTA for up to 8 semesters or the completion of a degree. This scholarship will cover any remaining tuition costs after all Pell grants and/or other federal, state, or institutional aid have been applied. Visit the UTA + T3 webpage for important deadlines and more. If your family does not meet the required income threshold of $65,000 or under for this scholarship, you are still eligible for other T3 program supports.

  2. "First Dollar" Scholarship: If you meet family income requirements, you will receive a $500 or more scholarship per year for up 4 years to a T3 partner university to help with books and other expenses. If you attend TCC first and then transfer, the scholarship cap is a total of 4 years including your time at TCC. If you do not meet the income thresholds, you are still eligible for other T3 program supports.
  3. Bridge Programming: The T3 team will work with you and your T3 partner university to ensure you have the necessary support the summer between high school graduation and your first year in college.
  4. On-Campus Support + Resources: Throughout your time in college, you will have specialized on-campus support and resources to help you persist and complete your degree.

By completing the T3 Partnership Pledge, this does not commit you to attending a T3 partner college or university. We know you have choices. We're here to help you along the way.

Believe You Can & You Will

It takes dedication, hard work, motivation, and the willingness to do whatever it takes… everyone is capable of success, they just need the proper support and resources in order to achieve whatever goals and aspirations they want to accomplish. ”
